SWFL is a playground with a variety of events and things to do around the area. The following counties we have included with our local event links are Lee County which includes Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers, Sanibel, Captiva, and Cape Coral, and Collier County which is Naples and Marco Island.
I wanted to share a one-stop shop to be able to see all events that are going on locally. From Craft Fairs and Farmer’s Markets to Parades, Concerts and much more.
Southwest Florida has some of the best beaches in the USA. Long stretches of sparkling white sand can be found around all the SWFL Beaches. The warm clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico are perfect for swimming and watersports at any time of year.
Some beaches such as Lovers Key State Park and Clam Pass Beach Park even offer a concessionary tram service between the car park and the beach for those with limited mobility.
You can buy snacks, rent beach chairs, and sports equipment at most municipal beaches. Kayaking, jet skiing, stand-up paddleboarding, parasailing, surfing, snorkeling, boating, and fishing are the most popular things to do on Southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast beaches.
